I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 25 years.
after graduating from the Simmons College School of Social Work in Boston, Massachusetts, I worked at a counseling agency and mental health center. I have also received additional training in both long and short term psychotherapy. In my private practice I treat adults individually and in couples. I am also experienced in the treatment of sexual dysfunctions and issues related to infertiity.
People who seek my help, often have experienced a loss, feel they have not been able to reach their career goals or are in unsatisfactory relationships. Sometimes there is a specific problem such as a sexual dysfunction or infertility. When people contact a therapist, it is usually because they have exhausterd their personal resources and feel their situation is hopeless. However,people are able to grow throughout life. Knowledge of the past and confidence in one's ability lead to problem resolution and the enrichment of life.
